I was surprised to there are a lot of racial myths among Fundamentalist groups to support a priesthood/temple ban. I was also surprised to learn that one of the first Mormon Allreds married a woman with so-called “black blood.” How does the Allred Group (aka AUB) deal with this? It turns out, not well! Moroni Jessop shares this interesting genealogy in the conclusion to our conversation and also shares racial myths about the ban. Check it out!
